SWE San Diego has programs for everyone and are open to the general public to attend and participate. Our programs are tailored:
 

For Engineers

To offer networking events, tours of local companies, speakers and workshops for professional development.  We also offer a ready avenue to expand your network, develop your leadership and project management skills through committee involvement and board positions.

For K-12 Students

To offer STEM outreach programs for girls and young women that offer an opportunity to see what engineers look like and what they do. We also have programs for the student’s parent’s, teachers and adult influencers.

While geared for students, it offers Engineers and opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering for day of events. ​

Annual Events to find out more about our section, plans and goals

Visit with us during our annual:

Open House

• (August timeframe) Introduces the new board of directors, their goals and plans for the upcoming fiscal year including a new slate of open committee positions

 
Celebration and Awards Banquet

• (May timeframe) The fiscal year culminates with the awarding of thousands of dollars in Scholarships and recognition of our San Diego Science Fair winners, donors and corporate sponsors.
