Membership in the Society of Women Engineers provides many benefits. Members can benefit directly from the networking and employment resources, as well as from the many opportunities for professional development. The Society provides excellent leadership training at the local, regional and national levels through opportunities to participate in committees or serve as committee chairs or officers. Many of SWE’s leaders have found the organization an ideal place to learn leadership skills while providing a safe environment to make mistakes while learning from them.
