The New Year New You Yoga event had about 10 attendees. We worked through some basic vinyasa yoga poses. We learned some chair-yoga stress relieving techniques to do at work, and we ended the session with guided meditation. Some feedback provided "A safe space to practice yoga with the SWE-SD community," and "It was really a great way to bring people together virtually and spend my Saturday morning!"

We are so excited to have kicked off the SWE-San Diego fiscal year last week with our annual (but first ever virtual) Open House! Thank you to the 114 attendees that participated and congratulations to our raffle winners Rachelle Dumaguing, Lyann Castillo, and Jenna Maxwell! It was a joy to share with you all about the Society of Women Engineers, elaborate on ways you could get involved, and answer your questions. We hope you found it insightful and that it ignited an appetite to engage with SWE-SD throughout the year. If you attended, you should be receiving a feedback survey soon. ![]()
The slides that were presented are posted above; if you have any questions about next steps or any of the content, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to learn from you how we can make FY21 absolutely amazing! Please consider sharing your ideas with us via this Member Feedback survey.
Many of the attendees expressed interest during our breakout sessions or through social media in joining a committee(s). We are very excited to start working alongside you! If you have not done so already, please fill out this Committee Interest survey so we can connect with you, answer any questions, and discuss next steps. SWE- San Diego wants to hear from YOU!
We have two surveys that are up and running with two different goals in mind.
