Society of Women Engineers Exploring Technology (SWEET)
SWE is hosting its annual outreach event for middle school girls, SWEET (Society of Women Engineers: Exploring Technology) Registration is now open! This event provides an incredible half-day workshop full of engineering-related, hands-on activities for 6th – 8th grade girls from throughout San Diego county, as well as a separate, parallel informative workshop for interested parents and educators about how to encourage girls in STEM.

Time: 12:30-5pm
Location: University of California, San Diego Revelle College
Fee: $7 online only (no tickets at the door)

Additionally, for the first (and maybe only) time, we are also offering a high school component to SWEET! The event will run in junction to the middle school girls, but with slightly more technically demanding activities and longer activity times for the high school girls. We only have 50 spots available, so buy your tickets fast because they will run out quickly!
