Scholarships 

Every year the San Diego County Section of the Society of Women Engineers awards monetary scholarships to young women enrolling in engineering schools or university engineering programs leading to an accredited engineering or computer science degree in the United States. Each year, the number and amount of our scholarships varies, depending on our corporate and member support. Join us, sponsor a SWE San Diego Scholarship today!

FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIPS: Applicants must be a current enrolled high school senior in San Diego County or Temecula Valley Unified School District. Be a female identifying person who intends to major at an ABET accredited engineering, computing, or engineering technology program (see https://www.abet.org/ for a list of eligible schools and majors). 

CONTINUING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: Applicants must be a female identifying person enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an ABET engineering, computer science discipline or engineering technology program in San Diego County.  (see https://www.abet.org/ for a list of eligible schools and majors) in San Diego County. 

In addition, scholarship applicants must not be receiving full funding from another organization. If selected, applicant must be able to provide proof of enrollment for the coming academic year (starting in the Fall). If selected, applicant must complete a thank you note to be sent to the sponsoring organization before receiving funds.
