Section Nominations

While the Nominating Committee is responsible for ensuring that qualified candidates are placed on the ballot, identifying SWE's future leaders is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of all of us to see that members are considered not only to develop and grow our leaders, but to grow our section and the Society mission. We look forward to receiving your recommendations. 

Nominations are due by March 28, 2025:  

• ELIGIBILITY: To take office, candidates must be voting members of the Society.

• CHARACTERISTICS: The key leadership characteristics we look for are a willingness to develop and grow as a leader, exercise strategic planning and team building skills, take initiative to move plans forward, demonstrate results, and promote an inclusive organization.

• TO NOMINATE: FILL OUT THIS FORM before the deadline. Self nominations will be accepted

• CONSENT: Candidate consent is required prior to placing on the ballot.
